Warm weather during the spring days is a great time to stock up on seasonal ingredients. Whether it’s grocery stores or farmer’s markets around you, purchasing these ingredients can be a fun adventure to go on during your free time. There are limitless ways to utilize farm-to-table ingredients for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks throughout the day. Here are some of the best seasonal ingredients to have on hand during this month.

Herbs

Basil (green or purple), rosemary, parsley, mint, and chives are fantastic herbs to have on hand, with a variety of ways to utilize them. All of these can be utilized as garnishes to give your dishes a beautiful aesthetic as appetizing ingredients. These herbs can also be used in sauces that you make at home, which gives you the creative power to play around with to create your signature home specialties as well.

Vegetables

English peas and snap peas can elevate a simple meal to a spectacular meal. Whether you are making pasta or soups or eating them as side dishes alone, these ingredients are healthy, light, and refreshing to eat during lunch or dinner. Potatoes are very versatile to use as well in savory dishes.

Fruits
