Today’s Faith requires you to be patient in trying to conceive. Today we travel to the story of Hannah, who longed for a child and poured out her heart before God until He answered in His time.
Being patient in trying to conceive is one of the hardest journeys a couple can walk. The desire to hold a baby of your own is not wrong—it is a God-given longing. But when the months turn into years, the waiting can feel unbearable. In those moments, you may wonder if God has forgotten you. Friend, let me tell you something: God never forgets His children. He has you written on the palms of His hands.
Patience in this season is not wasted time. It is God’s workshop, shaping your faith and deepening your trust in Him. Hannah’s story reminds us that tears do not push God away. They draw Him near. When she wept and prayed, the Lord was listening. And in time, He gave her Samuel, a son who would change the course of Israel’s history.

Trusting God While Waiting to Conceive
When you’re being patient in trying to conceive, the enemy will whisper lies. He will say God doesn’t care, that your prayers are useless, that your dreams are over. But don’t you believe it. God is faithful, and He has a plan far greater than what you can see right now.
While you wait, keep praying. While you wait, keep trusting. Use this season to draw closer to your spouse, to strengthen your walk with Christ, and to hold on to His promises. God’s delays are not God’s denials. His timing is perfect, and when He moves, He does so with love and purpose.
Bible Verse for Today
1 Samuel 1:10-11 reads:
“In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly. And she made a vow, saying, ‘Lord Almighty, if you will only look on your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life.’”

Praying For Those Trying To Conceive
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts that are tender and longing. Lord, You are the Giver of life, and You know the depth of our desire for a child. You see every tear, hear every prayer, and understand the ache that comes with being patient in trying to conceive.
Father, waiting is not easy. The calendar reminds us of disappointment month after month, and sometimes we wonder if You have forgotten us. But Your Word tells us that You never leave or forsake Your children. Help us to find strength in this waiting, to see that being patient in trying to conceive is not wasted time, but a holy opportunity to trust You more deeply.
Give us peace when anxiety threatens to steal our joy. Guard our hearts from the enemy’s lies that say You do not care. Remind us that Your timing is perfect, and Your plans are filled with love. Teach us that being patient in trying to conceive is part of the story You are writing, one that will display Your goodness in ways we cannot yet see.
Bless our marriage, Lord. Let this season of waiting draw us closer together instead of driving us apart. May our home be filled with prayer, hope, and love, so that whether or not You choose to bless us with a child, Your presence will always dwell here.
And Lord, if it be Your will, open the door for new life in our family. Until that day, we will keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that You are faithful. We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Comforter and King. Amen.
