Summer vacation! That means no school, sunshine, and hitting the waterparks! Disney World is one of the places to be, especially at their iconic waterparks, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach theme parks. From May 21 to September 7 in 2025, the waterparks will be open for those wanting to have fun beating the heat. As the opening day approaches, Disney World announced that there will be some majorly awesome changes happening.
Both Waterparks Open Together
That’s right! You thought choosing your resort would be the hardest decision. Disney has announced that both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach waterparks will be open every day for the summer schedule! This hasn’t happened since 2019, so pump yourselves up for more time along lazy rivers and water slides.
Free Pass on Check-In Day
We have been waiting out the summer heat long enough, and Disney agrees. For those who book any resort at Disney World this summer, you get to enjoy one of the waterparks at the Mouse’s house! On check-in day to your resort, Disney is allowing you and your family a free pass to one of its waterparks! Don’t just sweat your butt off in the heat after carrying all that luggage. Put on a swimsuit, hop on a bus, and have fun on the beach or in a blizzard by compliments of Disney.

- For kids tickets, if you buy a 3-day or longer pass ticket for a kid between the ages of 3 and 9, you can save 50% on your purchases. (May 27 to September 20)
- 3-Day, 3-Park Bundle Deal: Starting at $89 per ticket, you can explore the jungles of the Animal Kingdom, strut your stuff down Hollywood Studios, and travel the world of EPCOT. 3 different theme parks, 3 different days, giving the family 3 different adventures to experience. - Free Dining Plans are back! To get this sweet deal, you must plan a stay of 4 nights, 4 days, or longer at a Disney Resort and have a ticket with a Park Hopper option. (June 29 to December 22)
